Henry (Hank) R. Fore
In September 2012, Fore was named Regional Senior Vice President of Comcast’s California Region, where we currently leads 5,500 employees who serve more than 2.2 million customers.
In January 2010, Fore was named Regional Vice President of the Oregon and SW Washington region, where he led 2,000 employees serving more than 600,000 customers. Perhaps most telling, his area consistently earned the highest CredoSpeak scores in California, demonstrating the impact of his commitment to his employees.
From Dallas, Hank moved to the East Bay in 2005, and collaboratively led his team to turn-around one of the toughest markets in the country. He led the technical operations team from a dismal 99th out of 106 Comcast systems to 15th in the company and his team produced strong financial results year after challenging year. His employees helped vote Comcast as one of the Top 5 “Best Places to Work” for three consecutive years in a market-wide survey run by The San Francisco Business Times, East Bay Business Times and the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.
Hank joined the West Division team in 2003 and spent two years as the VP/GM of our Dallas system, upgrading the plant, launching a slate of advanced services, and turning around the company’s negative perception in the community.
Hank began his distinguished career with the United States Armed Forces, holding numerous positions. Ultimately he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army before deciding to retire to pursue a career in the private sector, and he successfully served as an executive in technology roles at Times Mirror, INS and Lucent Technologies before joining Comcast. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from West Point and a master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, California.
