Casey Beyer

After a decade of public and private sector work in southern California, Casey has returned to Silicon Valley to join the Silicon Valley Leadership Group as Senior Advisor to the President. Casey brings more than twenty-five years of experience in business, community and public policy development. Prior to joining the Leadership Group, Casey was President of Strategic Business Development for The Cielo Group, a start-up solar company based in southern California. Casey also served the state of California as Chief Assistant Secretary of State and was the Chief of Staff and Senior Staff Director for California Congressman and Senator Tom Campbell.

In 2009, Casey was appointed to the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency Board by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. He also serves as a founding board member of the South Bay Bicycle Coalition – a collaborative organization charged with leading the design and approval of a seven city bicycle master plan in the beach cities area of Los Angeles County. Casey holds a master’s in Urban and Regional Planning with an emphasis on Energy Conservation Management from San Jose State University.
