Partnerships across the public, private and nonprofit sectors have been critical to the Silicon Valley Leadership Group’s work since David Packard formed the organization. In recent years, we have taken steps across California and nationwide to build enduring relationships with other business organizations dedicated to making our state and our nation places where businesses flourish and employees and their families thrive.
California Regional Economic Association Leaders (R.E.A.L.) Coalition
The Regional Economic Association Leaders (R.E.A.L.) Coalition is a partnership of 20 of the most influential regional business organizations in California, originally convened in 2008 by Leadership Group CEO Carl Guardino and his counterpart at the Orange County Business Council, Lucy Dunn. Coalition participating organizations represent more than 11,000 employers who provide more than 3 million jobs in our state. The regional nature of these organizations means that they are able to maintain strong relationships both with area business leaders and with regional legislative delegations. You can learn more about the Coalition, including the issue areas in which it works, at www.realcoalition.org.
