Customer Energy Solutions

The Leadership Group helps its members implement cost-effective energy efficiency improvements by providing free building energy audits through our partnership, the Customer Energy Solutions Program, with Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E). Since 2009, this program has led to over 100 separate retrofit and retrocommissioning projects at different member company facilities, labs, clean rooms and data centers, yielding 4.5 MW, 2.3 MM kWh, and 449,000 therms in energy savings. In 2011, we signed a contract with PG&E worth $2.7 million to extend the program through 2011 in order to continue assisting members with managing energy use while reducing energy costs by up to a million dollars in the process.
