Energy Research, Development and Deployment (RD&D)

Advocate for state and federal investments in energy research, development and demonstration projects.
  • Actively track and advance positions on state and federal legislation including use of AB 32 cap and trade auction revenue and the Public Goods Charge.
  • Advocate to Congress for investments in ARPA-E, U.S. Department of Energy.
  • Foster relationships between member companies and key energy policy decision makers through roundtables, meetings, signature events and advocacy trips.
  • Participate in California Energy Commission (CEC) development of CEC Electric Program Investment Charge (EPIC) plan.
